The stretch ceiling system offers the opportunity to create expansive ceiling lighting. Our stretch fabric diffuser material allows us to emulate natural light effects in any space, including workspaces. Additionally, using stretch fabric, we can create an impressive acoustic lighting system.
The stretch material provides a versatile opportunity to achieve uniform and softly illuminated large ceiling lighting, as well as various forms such as circles, panels, 3D shapes, and more.
Bespoke Stretch Ceiling Lighting
Our bespoke stretch ceiling lighting systems combine architectural design, uniform illumination and flexible control. Solutions include translucent ceilings, acoustic lighting panels, suspended features, circular panels, illuminated walls and custom three-dimensional forms.
Printed membranes can incorporate artwork, patterns or branding, while single-colour, tunable-white, RGB, RGBW and digital lighting create anything from soft ambient illumination to dynamic programmed effects. Systems can be controlled through DALI, DMX or wireless technology and installed flush-mounted, surface-mounted, recessed or suspended to suit each project.

The three lighting styles shown above — flush-mounted, surface-mounted and suspended — are our standard options for illuminated stretch ceilings. Flush-mounted
Installed into a recess formed within the ceiling, such as plasterboard, timber or another finish. A profile and LED sit inside the recess, with a diffuser membrane tensioned flush across it. The panel reads as part of the ceiling itself, giving soft, even, glare-free light with no visible fittings on show.
Suspended-mounted
Hung below the ceiling on suspension wire, or on threaded rods for larger, heavier panels, giving a defined light feature over a specific area such as a table. The same framed profile, LED source and diffuser membrane give soft, even, glare-free light. Drop height and fixing points are set to suit the room.
Surface-mounted
Fixed directly onto the ceiling surface rather than recessed or suspended, ideal where the ceiling cannot be recessed, such as solid concrete. The same profile, LED source and diffuser membrane give a soft, even, glare-free light, with a slim frame visible around the panel’s edge, finished to suit the room.
